The Bachelor Degree in Sacred Theology (S.T.B.). Morning program is a degree in theology issued on behalf of the Holy See. It consists of three years and a prerequisite is two-years in philosophy. It offers students the chance to study and deepen their knowledge of Catholic doctrine, taken from the Holy Scripture and from Tradition, to thus contribute via scientific research to presenting the mystery of Christ with increasingly greater clarity, heeding broad contemporary cultural movements.
The degree is higher education in different theological disciplines (systematic theology, morality, holy scripture, history of the church, pastoral theology, liturgy, etc.) according to Catholic doctrine. In accordance with the founding objectives of the faculty, special theological and human preparation is offered to those preparing for the presbyterate, as well as other ecclesial ministries.
Theology studies also aim to contribute to evangelisation and the largest apostolic service to the people of God by means of thought, illuminated by Christian revelation, which affects men of the modern era.
